The cunning of the Purpi has always been underestimated and they are not (yet) the dominant species only because they are lazy! PurpleTako is a fun collaborative/competitive card game where players, in the role of clever octopuses (Purpi), must avoid ending up on the humans' plate who want to cook them.
The goal is to survive human threats, obtaining as many Purple-Tentacles as possible thanks to your tactics (Purple Strategies) while trying to collaborate or compete with other Purpi.
Designed for 2-8 players, PurpleTako offers strategic fun with rules that are easy to learn but hard to master. Every card matters and every decision can change the course of the game.

PurpleTako Game is played with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 players. Each player chooses a Purpo to identify with. The goal is to accumulate the most Purple-Tentacles, using Purple Strategies to defend against Human Threats.
Each turn, the player draws one of the Human Threat cards and can play one or more of the Purple Strategy cards, as well as use their character's Purple-Power. If a player loses all tentacles, they end up on the humans' plate and exit the game!
The game ends when Human Threat cards run out. The player who managed to get the most Purple-Tentacles wins!
